What do we think about this?
A gorgeous Mamiya camera 80mm with the elusive 7ii Window upgrade that is no longer obtainable due to unavailability of parts. The window update gives it improved clarity and contrast with polarization. The lens is in almost perfect condition with only small markings on the front barrel where the filter is inserted. The number paint is bright and clear and the curtains are flawless with the meter and electronics working perfectly. The overall body is tight with no wiggle.
There is some surface paint loss around the edges from usage but it’s only superficial.
It was cladded by the previous owner at the time of the Windows upgrade. He said he got it done several times when he had it.
Reluctantly parting with this beautiful piece as I rarely use it because I’m heavily invested in Leica and use only 35mm.
